Who we are
DomainStore.si is operated by Realtime Comms Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email domains@domainexchange.si.
What we collect
- Waitlist: if you ask to be notified when we open, we store your email address and the time you signed up.
- Orders (once the store opens): your name, email address, postal address and phone number, which the .si registry requires for every domain holder, plus the domains you register and your order history.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: our servers keep standard logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To email you when the store opens, if you joined the waitlist. We will not use that address for anything else.
- To register and renew your domains, and to send you order and renewal notices.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal and registry requirements.
Who we share it with
- Our registrar and the .si registry (ARNES), which must hold domain holder details. The registry’s public WHOIS hides most personal details for individuals.
- Stripe, to process payments and, where Stripe is merchant of record, to handle tax and payment support.
- Our email provider, to send you messages.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until the store opens and we have notified you, or until you ask us to delete yours. Order and registrant records are kept while you hold a domain with us and for as long afterwards as tax and registry rules require.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
